The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola.
According to Premium Times, the Nigerian singer is currently being questioned at the EFFC office in Lagos.
Reasons behind his arrest is yet to be revealed but could be in connection to his recent statements on internet fraud, widely known as “Yahoo Yahoo”.
Naira Marley and Ruggedman have been at loggerheads since his comments on internet fraud. Ruggedman called out the youngster asking him not to mislead the younger generation.
He was also snubbed by Simi, who had already picked her side on the internet fraud issue. In response to her snub, Naira Marley released a song titled “Am I A Yahoo Boy”, which may have raised concerns.
