A video has captured the moment some primary school students went on their knees to plead with the Edo state government to come to their aid over the deplorable state of their school.
The video was recorded by a community member who lambasted the state government for forgetting their community and refusing to renovate the school which is the only one that has served the community for years.
He mentioned that the leadership of the primary school alerted the Local government authorities over the dilapidated school structure and according to him, they were told to move the school pupils to another school in another area.
The man alongside the pupils went on their knees to plead with the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to come to their aid and refurbish the school.
