Missing Social Worker Found Alive In Lagos

Mrs Ayodele Idowu Lawal, the social worker who was reported missing in Lagos State, has been found.

The 63-year-old who is a member of the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW) Lagos State Chapter, was declared missing on Monday, Nov. 13, after she left her home in Igando for church.

Her phone was last traced to Festac Town before it went off.

Fortunately, she was found on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

NASoW Chairperson in the state, Ms. Olubunmi Lamilisa, said that Lawal has been found alive, according to DailyPost.

She said that Lawal was involved in an accident and is being managed in a private health facility in Shibiri, Ojo local government area of the state.

Lamilisa added that she had been moved to LASUTH for further medical attention.

“Mrs. Ayodele Folorunsho Lawal has been found. She was involved in an accident and is being managed in a private health facility in Shibiri, Ojo LGA of Lagos State, before being moved to LASUTH this afternoon, where top management, medical social workers, and directors of nursing rallied around her.

“She is semi-conscious as she sustained various degrees of fractures. We ask for your prayers and support for her speedy recovery. We are indeed very grateful for the wide publicity and support given to the NASoW family.”
