A Nigerian man, Ubawuike has taken to the ‘X’ platform to lament after his uncle who was kidnapped 5 months ago has still not been released by the criminal elements despite paying a ransom of N12 million.
In a series of posts, he stated that his uncle was abducted in Umudagu Mbieri in Imo state while his wife was pregnant.
He stated that the kidnappers demanded a ransom for N12 million and this was paid in full to them.
He said three months after the ransom was paid, no word has been heard from the kidnappers and that his family doesn’t even know if his uncle is still alive or dead.
He said that the kidnapped man’s wife recently gave birth to a baby boy and already has 2 girls, yet no one is rejoicing over the birth.
