A video of some final year students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) referring to the song of Afrobeats star, Wizkid as “boring” during their sign-out ceremony, has surfaced.
They asked the discjockey to instead play Davido’s songs.
A viral video on social media platform, X shows students enjoying the event until several of them express dissatisfaction with the DJ’s choice of Wizkid’s song, calling it “too boring.”
Their complaints led the DJ to switch to a Davido track, which instantly lifted the atmosphere.
The students began singing and dancing with renewed energy.
The video has since stirred mixed reactions online, with fans of both artists defending their favorites and engaging in heated debates.
