The Kenyan Police are conducting a probe into the murder and su!cide after a woman k!lled her three children before ending her own life.
The incident happened in the Githogoro area near Runda, Nairobi on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025.
The woman, identified as Monica Junior Wa Githogoro, allegedly k!lled her children using bedsheets and later hanged herself inside the house.
The bodies were found by her husband, Junior Wa Githogoro, who returned home from a night shift and alerted the neighbours, who called the police.
Gigiri Deputy Police Commander Fredrick Alata says they recovered a su!cide note from the house, which they are probing to determine the author and the motive of the unfortunate event.
The four bodies are lying at the Kenyatta Teaching and Referral Morgue ahead of a postmortem exercise.
