A Nigerian woman has expressed excitement after her adopted daughter tied the knot.

In an Instagram post, the lady identified as Ariella said her adopted daughter, Lulu, came into her house eight years ago as her children’s nanny.

Ariella said soon after Lulu started work, she asked her to become her mum as her own mother is deceased. Ariella said she accepted and has played the role of a mother to Lulu. She said that she empowered her by opening a fashion school for her.

Posting photos from the wedding online, Ariella wrote;

‘’8 years ago…

Lulu came to my home as the children’s nanny. ‘Please be my mummy. I don’t have a mum’ she said.

Her mum was late.

And mummy I became.

Disciplinarian and all.

She went to fashion school for 2 years.

I set up her own fashion outfit. Now she has students

Today… I gave her over to a good man. A man who loves and values her and takes me as mummy too.

Gosh!! My heart is full. My daughter is married.”
